Welcome to the Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC) Mentorship Program
We’re excited that you are interested in joining our community, where personal growth, professional development, and meaningful connections are at the heart of everything we do. Whether you're here as a mentor or a mentee, you're about to embark on a transformative journey that will empower you to achieve new heights in your professional role.
What is the FLC Mentorship Program?
The FLC Mentorship Program is designed to create powerful, dynamic partnerships between experienced mentors and motivated mentees. This is a leadership development program designed to support FLC federal laboratory members in the technology transfer community. Our program aims to provide an opportunity to connect with a colleague in another agency and share knowledge, experiences, successes, and challenges in the field of technology transfer. Through this process, you’ll not only strengthen your professional skills but also broaden your understanding of how other agencies conduct T2. We believe that every successful journey begins with the right mentorship, and we’re here to make that journey impactful for you.
For Mentees:
As a mentee, you’ll work one-on-one with a mentor who will help you navigate your career, set achievable goals, and unlock your full potential. This is your chance to gain insights from someone who’s been in your shoes and is eager to help you succeed.
For Mentors:
As a mentor, you play a crucial role in shaping the future of our community. Your wisdom and experience will guide the next generation of professionals and leaders. By giving back, you’ll also gain new perspectives, expand your network, and find fulfillment in helping others grow.
Program Highlights:
- Personalized Matchmaking: You can select your mentor or mentee based on mutual goals and shared interests.
- Supportive Community: Join a network of passionate individuals committed to personal growth and success in the field of technology transfer.
- Flexible Communication: Connect through in-person meetings, virtual calls, or emails — whatever works best for you and your mentor/mentee.
- Growth-Oriented Goals: Together, you and your mentor/mentee will set and track meaningful goals to ensure continuous progress.
